Police brutality: Plateau judicial panel calls for memoranda

The Plateau state Judicial Panel of enquiry, investigating alleged Police brutality, said complainants can submits their memoranda in Jos.

The panel’s secretary Mr. Cornelius Shiolbial, stated this in a press release, Thursday.

He said in line with the panel terms of references, which stipulated that; it should receive and investigate complaint of police brutality and related extra-judicial killings, and to evaluate evidence as well as draw conclusion on validity of complaint.

“Consequently, the general public is invited to submit ten (10) copies of memoranda giving details of victim (s) and other related evidence that will help the panel in discharging its mandate,” he said.

Mr. Shiolbial, said the panel secretariat is situated at room No. 4 Dadin Kowa youth center, and all memoranda must reach its on or before Tuesday, 10th November, 2020.
