Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Mr Ayodele Fayose, is expected to arrive in Ekiti today after spending few days in Abuja where he had gone to collect the certificate.

Fayose is billed to arrive in Ikere Ekiti, a border town with Iju-Itaogbolu, Ondo state, and would not pay courtesy call on any party member or senior citizen of the state.
Director of Media and Publicity, Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation, Idowu Adelusi, confirmed to newsmen in Ado Ekiti yesterday that the former governor’s return to Ekiti would be carnival-like.

He said: “This is going to be like a carnival. You can recollect that His Excellency has been in Abuja since his emergence on March 22, to collect his Certificates of return from the National Working Committee of the party.”
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Victor Babayemi, said the Command would beef up security in Ikere and Ado Ekiti to avert any crisis.
Babayemi said the Command would have to take precautionary measures “because of the internal crisis brewing in the party at present, so that his men would not be caught napping.”
