Voters in their thousands trooped out in mass as early as 7.30am on Saturday February 25 during the ongoing Presidential and National Assembly elections, but started protest after the polling centre located inside LEA school witnessed delay in accreditation and voting due late arrival of INEC officials.

A voter, Mr Eugene Abu, told Blueprint correspondent that “As you can see, Nigerians are ready to change the narratives, not like previous elections where INEC officials would come and wait for voters. We are hoping they come on time.”

However, accreditation and voting later started at about 11.30am after INEC officials brought and replaced wrong voting material to the centre.
