Nigerian gospel singer, worship leader and songwriter, Moses Bliss Uyoh Enang, popularly known as Moses Bliss, caused huge stir at Nollywood couple, Ekene Umenwa and Alex Kleanson’s wedding ceremony as he surprisingly showed up and performed for the couple.
On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the spotlight is firmly on the sizzling wedding of Actress Ekene Umenwa and Filmmaker Alex Kleanson, following culmination of weeks of intense and heartwarming events, from their engagement to the marriage introduction and the traditional wedding.
Amidst a sizable gathering in Edo state, Alex and Ekene professed their marital vows, surrounded by a sea of fans, close-knit family members, and supportive colleagues who flocked to join in their joyous celebration.
The most jaw-dropping moment of the event occurred when Gospel singer Moses Bliss pulled an unexpected stunt. Suddenly, his voice echoed through the loudspeakers, serenading the crowd. Ekene and Alex, who were center stage, momentarily froze in their dance.
The bride, sporting a radiant smile and a shocked expression, scanned the area to locate the spot from which Moses Bliss was serenading them.
When she finally spotted him, joy overcame her, and she couldn’t contain her excitement. Ekene dashed toward him, dropping to her knees, and embraced him tightly. Her surprised husband also joined in, welcoming Moses Bliss with open arms.
She exchanged a heartfelt hug with the singer as he serenaded them with his timeless gospel tunes. The couple danced and leaped for joy, completely swept up in the music.
Meanwhile, social media users have continued to react differently to the video of Nollywood actress, Ekene Umenwa, excusing her husband, Ifeanyi Ogbodo, to kneel down for popular gospel singer, Moses Bliss after he surprisingly turned up to perform at the wedding.
Reacting to the video @_RealKingsley wrote, “This was one of such interesting moments for her on such a great day. The kneeling and hugging was actually not about Moses Bliss. All I see is a woman that was overwhelmed. I don’t see any embarrassment here.”
