PDP on rescue mission in Osun, Nigeria – Secondus 

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday, stormed Osogbo, Osun state capital, in preparation to reclaim Abere, the state secretariat, from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

The party, stormed the state from all the 36 states of the federation for South West rally, held at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo.
Posters of Sule Lamido for 2019 president flooded the street with governorship aspirants in the state, mobilizing their supporters for the rally.
Speaking, the National Chairman of PDP,
Prince Uche Secondus, assured the readiness of the party to win the July governorship election in Ekiti state and as well rescue Osun State from the rulling APC.
He said the party will not succumb to any intimidation by the ruling APC in the 2019 general elections.
Advising APC to be ready to leave the mantle of power, Secondus said “ahead of the elections, we will not succumb to any form of intimidation because we are on a mission to rescue the nation.
The former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, appealed to the leadership and members of the party to unite so as to be able to succeed in the task ahead.
He vowed that the party would not leave any stone unturned at ensuring that it rescue power from the APC come 2019.
Former governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule Lamido, governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, and other chieftains of the party from across Nigeria also attended the rally.
