On N-power job racketeering

The Presidency’s warning against N-power job racketeering saga is, to my mind, a very mild and belated reproach, against a very serious anomaly, that should be classified and upgraded, as official corruption. The bitter truth is that, in Nigeria, it is no longer a secret that, such official irregularities build-up to an unwieldy entrenchment of abuse of office and privileges, that fuel corrupt practices at all levels.
This may explain why, there is widespread confusion on the implementation of such a noble and laudable project, designed by this administration to address and reduce the unemployment difficulties of Nigerian youth, brought about by years of PDP neglect and syndicated corruption.
Given the numerous outcries and injurious reactions to this project, particularly, the acrimonies from the “padded list and forgeries, associated with fake and imaginary beneficiaries imposed on some states”, it is incumbent on the federal government to empanel a special committee or task force, to investigate and review its implementation strategies, across the board, so as to instil some level of discipline, transparency and accountability, which the Buharian philosophy is noted for.

As things are, the alleged racketeering and corrupt irregularities and nepotism associated with the implementation of the project, at both federal, state and local government levels, are at variance with President Buhari’s anti-corruption crusade and fairness doctrine, because, numerous investigative results, seem to confirm, that ‘the program has been hijacked and tangentially teleguided, to favour interlopers with godfathers in the corridors of power, while those hardworking Buhari orphans, who laboured against all odds, to anchor the Buharian Change  Mantra, are left, abandoned and disillusioned.
My final and honest advice, to checkmate this form of gross injustice that has become an entrenched tradition in the commercialized Nigerian political environment, courtesy of PDP legacy, is to ensure that, critical stakeholders with grassroots linkages, such as APC National Youth League; Buhari Support Organization, Buhari Youth Mandate, NANS For Buhari Brigade, Buhari Women For Change, Comrades Solidarity Forum For Buhari’s Change should be incorporated and be part of the committee otherwise, there is no guarantee for positive result, in a party colonized and hijacked by PDP Avengers and APC Diluted groups, who, are more or less, reincarnated PDP clones!
