…Oduamadi, Mba go philosophical

Midfielders Nnamdi Oduamadi and Sunday Mba have gone philosophical in handling their non-inclusion in Nigeria’s final World Cup squad.
Coach Stephen Keshi dropped the duo alongside Victor Obinna, Ejike Uzoenyi, Daniel Akpeyi, Joel Obi and Nosa Igiebor from his 23-man squad that will play in Brazil in an announcement that came as a shock to many fans.

Mba, scorer of Nigeria’s winning goal at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, was dropped after arriving late in camp last Wednesday due to visa hitches which made him miss the squad’s friendly against Scotland.
“I have accepted my fate, let’s all pray and wish the team a good outing in Brazil… Startin from tonight’s warm up game,” Mba tweeted.
On his part, Oduamadi, who scored four goals for the Super Eagles in their opening match against Tahiti at the Confederations Cup in 2013, was more philosophical.
“If one dream should fall and break into a pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again. Thank you LORD [for] everything,” he tweeted.
