Obasi posed to impress Di Matteo at Schalke 04

Super Eagles star Chinedu Obasi and his Schalke 04 teammates are set to begin life under a new manager following the dismissal of former boss Jens Keller this week.
The 28-year-old Nigerian attacker who isn’t a regular in the side may have a new lease of life as the club has appointed Chelsea Legend Roberto Di Matteo.
Schalke 04 in a statement confirmed the appointment of Di Matteo, who won the 2011/2012 UEFA Champions League for the Blues as a coach.
Di Matteo has been without a club since he was dismissed by Chelsea in November 2012.
The 44-year-old, who enjoyed a six-year spell as a player at Stamford Bridge, led the club to arguably their greatest achievement when they defeated Bayern Munich on penalties in the 2012 Champions League final, while he also clinched the FA Cup in the same season.
As well as Chelsea, the Italian has also enjoyed coaching spells with Milton Keynes Dons and West Brom.
Having found playing time difficult to come by under Keller, Obasi will now look forward to impressing the new manager in order to reclaim his place in the club’s starting line-up.
