NSCDC recommends three petrol stations for sanction 

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Edo state said it has recommended three erring petrol station to the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) for sanction.

State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Makinde Ayinla, who disclosed this said that the petrol stations were caught selling PMS above the approved pump price of N145.00 per barrel.
Ayinla gave the names of the petrol stations to include Conoil (Aduwawa), Agboniy Global Ltd and Rain Oil located in Idogbo area of the state.

He said the erring petrol stations sold the product between #150.00 and N220.00.
The commandant warned other petroleum marketers to desist from hoarding and unilaterally adjusting pump price.

While urging residents to stop panic buying, Ayinla admonished them to report any erring petrol station to the law enforcement agents.
He further disclosed that the command is ready to assist the federal government in ensuring a hitch-free yuletide celebration.
