NPDC donates e-library, tablets to Edo schools

The Nigeria Petroleum Development Company (NPDC)  Tuesday donated educational supplies worth  millions of  naira to 10 public schools in all NPDC host communities (OML 111) in Benin city, Edo state.

The donations include: E-Library, Tablets, Science TextBooks, Notebooks, Desks and Chairs.

Managing director of NPDC, Mr. Mansur Sambo, said the gesture was part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) geared towards improving educational standard in its area of operations.

Sambo who was represented by the General Manager, Community Relation and Security, Mr. Ugo Atugbokoh thanked the host communities for their “continuous support and hitch free operations in their communities”.

According to him, “this is the  second presentation to schools in our host  in the past two years since 2018.”

The Principal,  Ozolua Senior Secondary School in Benin City, Mr Paul Omorogbe, drew the attention of the management to the alleged vandalism of some hoodlums.
