After the federal government gradual ease on restriction on sports through the presidential task force on COVID 19, the Nigeria National League board through its chief operating officer Emmanuel Adesanya has urge all clubs taking part in the league to start preparation for the 2020/2021 season .
in a communique released to clubs, the chief operating officer advised clubs to adhere to all the rules and regulation laid out for football to resume , he further reiterate that clubs will be monitor to carry out the implementation of all COVID 19 protocols as stated.
The go ahead for football was pronounced a week ago ahead of the new season with football with no fans at all match venues pending when it will be safe for fans to resume back to the stadium .
The league could not be completed last season due to the pandemic outbreak.
