NMGS 2O15 annual public lecture holds July 23rd

The Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) is billed to hold its 2015 Distinguished Annual Lecture on the 23rd of July, 2015, a statement from the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development has said.
The statement which was signed by the Deputy Director of Press in the ministry, Ambrose Momoh said the lecture with the theme: “Minerals, Challenges Mineral Resources and the Future of the Nigerian Economy:, Constraints and Prospects”, will take place on Thursday the 23rd of July, 2015 at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Lagos.

According to information released by the Chairman, Lectureship Programme, Professor Samuel Olobaniyi, the Lecture would feature a team of distinguished lecturers to be led by Professor of Mineral Economics from Lousiana State University.

The event which is designed to bring together leading figures in the country’s mining and geosciences sector will set the pace for the Buhari administration
