The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa state, Aliyu Ahmed Wadada, has promised to consolidate on the development stride of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
He made the pledge at a press conference in Lafia, Monday.
He said Governor Sule has laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth through achievements in infrastructure, industrialisation, agriculture, healthcare, education, security and economic transformation.
He promised to build a transparent, accountable and inclusive government that prioritises the welfare of citizens, strengthens institutions, expands economic opportunities and attracts investments.
Wadada who formerly accepted his party’s mandate as its flag bearer described his emergence as victory for democracy, unity, continuity and the collective aspirations of the people of Nasarawa state.
He extended his hands of fellowship to fellow aspirants who contested with him, calling on them to support his candidacy as well as the stakeholders to work together for the success of APC ahead of the 2027 general elections in the state.
