2027 elections: Jonathan emergence will return PDP to power – Adamawa governorship candidate

 The  Tanimu Turaki led Gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Adamawa state, Chief Caleb Andrewx Myebangara, has congratulated former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan  for his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate in 2027 election, stressing that his emergence will return PDP to power in next year’s general election. 

The governorship hopeful stated this in a press statement made available to journalists in Yola on Sunday.

 He lauded Jonathan’s achievements in office, describing his emergence as the party presidential candidate in 2027 as a testament to his unparalleled record of development and statemanship which have not only re- earned him the trust and confidence of Nigerians but also global respect and recognition. 

He expressed optimism that the former president will not only return PDP to power but will also reclaim his mandate.

He further noted that Jonathan’s track records in office is unmatched to what the country  experienced since he left office with unprecedented and intimidating records of achievements in most sectors especially in the areas of infrastructure, electoral reforms ,economic growth and development which have placed Nigeria in high pedestal in global map.

The gubernatorial hopeful also commended the party board of trustees and the interim national working committee led by Tanimu Turaki  for a successful national convention and for wooing Jonathan back to  flag the party’s ticket. 

He reiterated his commitment and that of other party stakeholders in the state to work assidously not only to recapture the state in 2027  but also to deliver Jonathan as president so that  he can continue from where he stopped in 2025.

Caleb further called on PDP supporters across the North East and the country at large to remain focus and united  in ensuring that the party return to power  both at state and  national level so that Nigerians can reap true dividends of democracy.
