The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello, has said that his administration will soon carry out maintenance work on water pumping lines to Maitama District, in Abuja.
The minister said the maintenance works might affect the pressure of water supply to residential and commercial facilities in the area during the period.
He appealed to residents over the inconveniences they might experience, and assured that normal water supply would be restored from today.
While waiting for the supply, Bello called for understanding of the affected residents and advised them to store enough water that will last them through this period.
