The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, has lost his mother, Hajiya Fatima Adamu Baaba.
The director of press of the ministry, Mr. Ben Goong, disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.
Goong said Hajiya Fatima died in the early hours of Friday at the age of 109.
He said further that the deceased, who is survived by six children – three males and three females –, would be buried on Friday at Azare in Bauchi state, in accordance with Islamic rites.
