Lagos-based Odo donates food items to Sardauna Empowerment Initiative

The Founder and CEO of Trust Global Services Limited, Miss Maryann Onyekachi Odo, has donated goods worth thousands of Naira to the Sardauna Empowerment Initiative.

Odo, who is a native of Eha-Alumona in Nsukka, Enugu state, and a graduate of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, also pledged to do more for the organization to augment its efforts in alleviating the pain and suffering of indigent children, youths, and women being cared for by the organisation.

Speaking during the presentation of the items to the initiator of the programme, Odo said her decision to make the donations was based on her conviction on bridge and confidence building across the East-North divides, with a generational statement averring that everyone feels the pain and experience same things common with humanity, irrespective of skin colour, tribe, region or religion.

In his response, the initiator and founder of Sardauna Empowerment Initiative who is also the National Public Relations Officer of the Sardauna Forum of Nigeria, and Sarkin Yaki Fadan Talakawa under the Indigenous Ethnic Youth Leaders of Nigeria, High Chief (Dr) Enoch N. Fada, said Odo’s gesture was exemplary in character and innovative in content.

He expressed his gratitude to her and her organization, promising to reciprocate her gesture in ways possible and within the capacity of his organization. He extolled the virtues and values she held in envisaging and executing such a memorable feat.

The Sardauna also called on Nigerians to make efforts to build bridges across the tribal, regional, and religious divides, to save the country from unwarranted bickering and suspicions that have erected brickwalls against meaningful development and prosperity of the nation.
