Kwankwaso hits back at Ganduje

The former governor of Kano state and Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has responded to the recent threat made by his successor, Umar Ganduje.

Kwankwaso confidently asserted that Ganduje, whom he referred to as one of his “boy”, would not dare to confront him directly.

During separate visits to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday, Kwankwaso and Ganduje found themselves in the same location.

Ganduje who openly declared that he would have resorted to physical violence against his former boss had their paths crossed at Aso Rock, Abuja.

However, Kwankwaso dismissed the threat.

“I heard that he [Ganduje] said he would’ve slapped me, but I’m here. He was just confused. These are all my boys politically. They can’t even look at me straight in the face if we meet,” he said during an interview with Hausa BBC.
