Kuje party chairman tasks elected officers on grassroots development

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has called on newly elected and political appointees across the area Council to embark on developmental projects that will have impact on the lives of grassroots dwellers in the area.

The Chairman of the party, Alhaji Ismaila Mohammed stated this while speaking to Blueprint in Kuje Abuja, Wednesday said that people have spoken well by voting massively for PDP candidates across Kuje area council. He said that, it is the responsibility of the newly elected officers and political appointees to give back to the society the trust reposed on them.

“They should use the privileged given to them to serve their people, they should also know that they have been given responsibility to better the lives of the people who elected them,” he charged.

Speaking on steps taken to build the people’s confidence in the party, the chairman said: “As you can see our party PDP is fully empowered to help the people in the society hence we are helping people from one community to another.

“I want to tell you that the Council Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, is working tirelessly providing infrastructure and that is why people do not know any other party in Kuje apart from the PDP.”
