Kida attends Nigeria’s D’Tigers training in Abidjan ahead FIBA World Cup qualifier vs Cote d’ivoire 

President of Nigeria Basketball Federation Engr.Ahmadu Musa Kida Thursday watched the Nigeria Men’s national basketball team, D’Tigers training ahead of the all-important opening game of the 4th window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers against host Cote D’Ivoire, Friday.

Kida commended the players and officials on the training sessions which he described as energetic, exciting and encouraging.

”I am happy with what I have seen so far with your training. It’s very exciting and encouraging. I’m confident that you would do Nigeria proud by winning your matches, beginning tomorrow against the host nation Cote D’Ivoire,” he remarked.

The amiable NBBF boss was quick to remind the players that playing for the country is a big honour and they should make it count. Adding that in the last four years, over 78 players have don the colours of the country.
