In Plateau, group hails Davou’s reappointment

Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, has been commended for reappointing Hon. Gideon Davou, as management committee chairman Jos South local government area of the state.

The commendation was made Sunday, by the National President and Public relation officer of Intellectuals Without Boarders (IWB), Fatai Ibrahim and Maryam Raji.

The group in a press release, said the reappointment of Davou, was apt. 

“This appointment is indeed apt and a manifestation of people-oriented programmes and policies of Hon Gideon’s focused leadership in his first spirit as the chairman Jos- South Local Gov’t which are  in line with the administration’s focal point.”

They said Hon. Davou’s antecedents, as a grass-root oriented person and a team player, are qualities that endeared him to millions of people at the grass-root, State, National and International levels. 

“His administrative acumen and intellectual sagacity, coupled with his humility and exposure, will really help him to work for the common good of all,” they said.

According to the release, Hon. Davou’s second coming will bring a new lease of life and add more value to the people-oriented programmes and policies of the Rescue Administration in Plateau state. 

He prayed to God to guide and give Hon. Davou more wisdom in the discharge of his  assignment.
