Two days after the abduction and murder of a monarch from Otulu community in Ezinihitte Mbaise area of Imo state, Eze Joe Ochulor, two policemen have been murdered by another group of gunmen.
Blueprint correspondent gathered from an eyewitness that the murder of the two policemen occured on Monday November 27, 2023, while they were in a filling station at Ahiara junction in the Ahiazu Mbaise local government area of the state trying to fill up their tank.
“Unknown to the policemen who were in a Hilux van, the gunmen fired some shots that hit the policemen, while a stray bullet hit an Okada man,” the eye witness said.
Already, the Imo Police Command’s spokesman, ASP Henry Okoye, has confirmed the incident.
He assured that a manhunt of the hoodlums would immediately be carried out.
