I’ll attract investment to Plateau, other states – Ambassador Adamu

The Nigerian Ambassador to Cote d’Ivoire, Martin Adamu, has Wednesday said he will work to attract opportunities for investment and development to Plateau and other states in the country.

Ambassador Adamu stated while on visit to Governor Simon Lalong at the new Government House, Little Rayfield Jos.

In a statement signed by director of press and public affairs Dr. Makut Macham to Governor Lalong, said Ambassador Adamu told Governor Lalong that he was at the Government house to pay his respects.

“Martin said although his primary assignment was to protect the interests of Nigeria and Nigerians in his country of assignment, he will do all within his power to also ensure that opportunities for investment and development are attracted to States including Plateau,” the statement read.

Governor Simon Lalong, while wishing him well in his new assignment, said the people of Plateau state were happy that he has been conscientious and diligent in his duties to have attained the zenith as Ambassador.

He expressed: “Confidence that the Ambassador will succeed in his assignment amd bring pride to Nigeria and Plateau State just as his late father Gen. Martin Martin Adamu did during his military career.”

Lalong asked Ambassador Adamu, to do all within his capacity to sell Nigeria and Plateau State to the world and assist in projecting the return of peace and stability to the State which is ready to receive investors and tourists from within and outside the nation.
