About 24 hours after a monarch was murdered by unknown gunmen in Mbaise, Imo state, three people have been killed by the same unknown gunmen, two at Orogwe and one at Ndegwu, both neighbouring communities in Owerri West local government area of the state.
An eyewitness told Blueprint correspondent that this also happened a day after the vehicle of a former director in the Federal Psychiatrist Hospital in Enugu was snatched on gun point by armed robbers.
When asked to confirm the two incidents, the Imo Police Command’s spokesman, ASP Henry Okoye, said he was yet to be briefed by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the area on the matters.
