Foundation empowers 300 less privileged in Kafanchan

A Kafanchan based foundation in Kaduna state, Lifidi Jamaa Charity Foundation has empowered over 300 less privileged persons with funds and starter packs.

The empowerment Programme which held at the palace of the Emir of Jemaa, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu, focused on different areas of petty businesses, donation of motorcycles and cash to voluntary security organizations.

Speaking during the event, the chairman of the Foundation and the Lifidin Jemaa, Alhaji Bashir Idris, said the gesture was intended to step up the daily earnings of the beneficiaries to enable them live a more meaningful life.

Alhaji Idris said it was his own way of touching the lives of the less privileged in the society and appealed to well- to- do people to consider assisting others to earn a living.

Earlier, the chairman of the occasion, Professor, Sale Momale described the foundation as a humanitarian venture that aims at improving the lots of the people.

He urged the sponsor of the program to expand the gesture for wider benefits and also appealed to other well to do individuals in the society to emulate the kind gesture of Lifidin Jama’a geared towards improving the lives of the down trodden and the needy in the communities.

While praying God to bless the Foundation, Professor Momale challenged the beneficiaries to see to it that the gesture improves their living conditions.

In a remark, the Emir of Jemaa, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu who showered royal blessings on the endeavour, said the Emirate supports the noble cause.

The beneficiaries, who cut across different religions and tribes from different parts of Jemaa Local Government Area in an interview, expressed gratitude to the Foundation for the heartwarming development.
