Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, Monday, lost his father, Baba William Dalung.
The aged father died after a protracted illness.
Recall that the Former Minister had lost his mother Late Mrs Nalkat Chirram on November 30.
Announcing the demise of his father via his Facebook handle on Tuesday morning, he said, “While making final preparations for my mother’s burial on Saturday, 23/11/2023, I received yesterday, 18/12/2023, another devastating news of the passage of my father, Nimgbak William Fabong Dalung, at the age of 105 years.
“When he received the news of my mother’s exit, he called and commiserated with me. My father appreciated my modest efforts in taking care of them. He finally left me with these words, “Take heart because I am also on my way.” Was these the parting gift, my beloved Nimgbak?
“Until his exit, Nimgbak Dalung was a retired Director of Health with Taraba State Local Government Service Commission.”
