February 25 2023 election: Ndume thanks constituents for support 

 

The senator-elect, Borno South senatorial district at the National Assembly, Mohammed Ali Ndume, who is now going to the upper chamber of the National Assembly for the fourth time has acknowledged the support and solidarity of his constituents; local, state and national APC stakeholders, in giving him another mandate to serve his people for another four years for the fourth time as a senator of the Federal Republic. 

Ndume, who has also served as House of Representatives member representing Gwoza, Damboa and Chibok of federal constituency at the lower chamber twice in an interactive session with Journalists in Maiduguri at his residence, also thanked the media for the cordial working relationship that has been maintained with him in person and National Assembly member in the past 16 years. 

He promised to play his role as a lawmaker to come up with a motion at the floor of the Senate and seek support of his colleagues as well as mobilise and influence African  Development Bank to assist the victims of insurgency to cushion their loss, hardship, stress and frustration.

Ndume also pledged to improve on his service to his senatorial district while appealing for understanding and forgiveness among political rivals.
