Empowering African creators: The story of Oladapo Adewunmi

Oladapo Adewunmi is a Nigerian talent/content agent who has significantly impacted the African content industry. Born and brought up in Lagos, Nigeria, Adewunmi attended Lagos State University (LASU) for his tertiary education.

After completing his studies, Adewunmi pursued a talent/content agent career, working with over 300+ content creators across Africa. He has empowered the online content industry through his work and provided a platform for aspiring creatives to showcase their talent.

One of Adewunmi’s significant achievements in the content industry was his partnership with Meta, a global social media company. Through this partnership, Adewunmi was able to expose more African content creators globally and create more opportunities for the African content industry.

When asked about his plans, Adewunmi expressed his desire to create more opportunities for the African content industry and to provide more platforms for aspiring creatives. He also plans to continue exposing African content creators to a global audience, increasing their visibility.

Adewunmi is passionate about creating opportunities and providing solutions in the African content industry. He believes the sector has enormous potential but needs more investments to grow and reach its full potential. 

Adewunmi also credits his mentors and role models, Tony Elumelu and Tyler Perry, for inspiring him to pursue his career path and approach to business.
