In line with the directive of President Bola Tinubu, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has extended invitation to the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, over her alleged involvement in the fund misappropriation scandal rocking the Ministry.
The country’s anti-corruption body is now expected to launch formal investigation into the issues surrounding how monies meant to reach the down trodden were disbursed and used.
