Education imperative for national development – Danlami

Dr. Angulu Yakubu Danlami has described education as the most vital tool for the development of any nation.

He stated that education is a strategic tool for nation development and social change.

Dr. Angulu Yakubu Danlami, a politician and business man spoke during the week immediately after his graduation with PhD at the University of Abuja.

He noted that the nation cannot develop or make progress without educated citizenry, just as  people cannot develop without functional education.

He pointed out that sometimes there should be encouragement and motivation.

“In those days, our parents were not educated because they didn’t go to school and that has killed our moral. But when I woke up, I ask why I am here. My counselor then in secondary school encouraged me to finish my secondary school and proceed further.

“After my secondary school, I proceeded to the College of Education and then went to university for my first degree.

After my first degree, I enrolled for my masterS degree, and fortunately for me today, I’m a PhD holder from the prestigious University of Abuja, Nigeria.

“I believed this would be a testimony to some people, especially  people in my community who don’t want to be educated. As l’m talking to you , my junior brothers already enrolled for their masters degrees in different fields, and I will still encourage them to do more.

Dr. Angulu said, “I look forward to have a foundation that would help my community, while I also solicit support from the government, NGO’s, agencies, and civil society organisations to come to our aid.”
