DCLVB Academy takes Abdullahi to Ajax for trials

DCLVB Football Academy have reached arrangement with topmost European giants, Ajax Amsterdam to take one of the most promising and young talent in the country, Abdullahi Dwala for trials with the Dutch giants.

Abdullahi a graduate of the newly established football academy based in Abuja will jets out of the country on Saturday to pursue his dream of playing professional football outside the shores of the country.

DCLVB Country Representative, Jeremiah Imongan told Blueprint sport in Abuja that “very soon, the academy will be able to produce players for the junior and national team as all hands on deck to make the academy a model for others.

‘There will be a nationwide talent search as early as possible.

Imogan also informed that the academy in partnership with its parent body in Holland will be taking 22 young and upcoming footballers to Holland for trials in the next few weeks.

“All what we are waiting for is their Visa , there is plan for them to spend nine weeks in Europe”

Imongan who doubles as Country Representative to DCLVB Organization Holland and also the Executive Director of DCLVB Sports Nigeria Limited, disclosed  that all arrangement has been concluded, and for the Founder/CEO  Mr. Henri Van Lammerts Van Bueren to visit Nigeria with top European scouts for the final phase of the Talent search to pick the best players to join the academy in Nigeria.

“This is a lifetime career that intends building talents and creating a platform for career development towards positive impact that will eventually change their life, their family and the community at large, with a projection on affecting the nation socio-economic development. 

He stated that the academy policy is to take charge of all travel expenses, accommodation in Nigeria, welfare and logistics and  advice young football talents to get set in order to grab the opportunities available for them at this period to transform their future.
