Former International and Chelsea legend, Celestine Babayaro, has praised Sports Minister, Senator John Owan Enoh, for his efforts in garnering government’s support for the Super Eagles in the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Also, Babayaro also applauded Enoh for his similar support shown towards the national basketball team, the D’Tigers, which further demonstrates his true commitment to his prestigious position as the Minister of Sports development.
Babayaro, a former Nigerian international and one of the most esteemed footballers in the country, commended Enoh for his genuine empathy and respect towards the sports industry and its practitioners.
“These qualities are deemed highly important administrative elements necessary for the overall growth and development of sports in Nigeria.

By doing so, Babayaro believes that the minister will further augment the progress of sports in Nigeria,” he said.

His proactive approach to securing government support has greatly contributed to the success of both the Super Eagles and the Dick Tigress.
