President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday had a brief meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting which lasted for about 10 minutes was held behind close-doors.
There was official statement on why the former president visited the Presidential Villa. But sources said Jonathan’s visit was to thank Buhari for emphatising with him over attack on his country home, Otuoke, Bayelsa state by unknown gunmen in December 2019.
Three of the gunmen and one soldier were reportedly killed during the attack.
