The Super Eagles of Nigeria were, Sunday, held to a 1-1 draw by the Warriors of Zimbabwe in the ongoing 2026 World Cup qualifying match.
The Super Eagles in their second match of World Cup qualifier at the Huye Stadium in Rwanda on conceded a free kick goal in the first half of the game.
And Peseiro’s men were duly rewarded with a 67th-minute goal from Kelechi Iheanacho, who fired a shot just inside the left post to equalise for the Super Eagles.
The pressure was on the Super Eagles as they needed a positive result after an underwhelming draw against Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium last Thursday.
