Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has on Tuesday declared the President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Ayùba Wabba and other members of the union wanted.
The governor’s pronouncement is coming day after Wabba joined other NLC members to kickoff protest against sack of workers by the state government with a call for their reinstatement.
A terse tweet by the governor read, “Ayuba Wabba & others of @NLCHeadquarters declared wanted for economic sabotage & attacks on public infrastructure under Miscellaneous Offences Act. Anyone that knows where he is hiding should send a message to @MOJKaduna. KDSG. There will be a handsome reward!”
