Less than 24 hour after 2020 National Sports Festival (NSF) was put off, the federal government has just ordered suspension of ongoing National Youth Corps Service camps nationwide over coronavirus fears.
In an early Wednesday morning tweet, the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, said the NYSC members would be released to resume at their places of primary assignment.
Dare said the closure was a precautionary measure on coronavirus.
The 2020 Batch A Stream one NYSC members had arrived on camp on March 4 and were meant to leave on March 29.
