Breaking: Fayemi in EFCC net over alleged financial misappropriation

Former Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi, is now facing interrogation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to close sources, the former governor is currently at the zonal command of the anti-graft agency located in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state.

Fayemi reportedly arrived at the EFCC facility around 10 am on Thursday.

As at the time of filling this report, the commission was yet to issue an official statement on the development.

Recently, the commission had hinted that it is trailing some governors who allegedly commited one infraction or the other while in the office.
