Another intrigue seems to be playing out in Adamawa state following a pronouncement by a High Court in Yola that supplementary election should be suspended.
Yola is the capital of Adamawa state.
The rerun poll fixed for March 23, 2019 has been put on hold indefinitely as a new ruling on the matter is now scheduled for March 26, 2019.
The presiding Judge, Justice Abdulazeez Waziri said that the court order barring INEC from conducting the supplementary polls remained in force till next week Tuesday.
