Ahead of expected congresses of APC and 2019 general election, a political group in Adamawa state working for the re- election of Gov.
Bindow Jibrilla’s second term known as Adamawa social media awareness group for Bindow has warned the Adamawa youths not to allow themselves to be used for political hooliganism.
The group made their position known at a press conference in Yola, at the weekend addressed by their chairman Hon Nurudeen kama where they equally called on parents and guardians to caution and guide their children from being used by desperate politicians to cause political crisis in the state for their selfish interest.
Kama further expressed concerned over incessant clashes between farmers and herders in the state and other parts of the country and called for caution ,tolerance and respect for each other rights especially now that we are entering into rainy season and stressed the need for them to give peace a chance to enable government provide more dividends of democracy to them and the people at the grassroots “We want to appeal to the youths of Adamawa not to allow themselves to be used by desperate politicians in the state as party congresses and 2019 election draw nearer.
There is equally the need for parents and guardians to put their eyes on their children and protect them from being use by desperate politicians.
We also called on farmers and herders to eschew bitterness and respect each other’s rights to enable government provide more dividends of democracy at the grassroots” He said.
