Avoid politics of enmity, Emir of Suleja advises politicians

The Emir of Suleja, Alhaji Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim, has called on politicians to avoid politics of bitterness and enmity during the Niger East Senatorial bye-election and the 2015 general elections.
The royal father stated this yesterday while receiving Barrister David Umaru at his Palace who was on consultation visit over his intention to run in the Niger East Senatorial district bye election to replace late Senator Dahiru Kuta at the National Assembly.
He said stated the need for politicians to play politics of friendship in the interest of the development of the people.
While giving his blessings to David Umaru and wishing him well in his ambition, the royal father said Suleja Emirate has been grossly neglected by successive governments despite its sacrifices to the nation
“Suleja has not received commiserate attention despite lots of sacrifice and I wish anybody that won the bye election will remember Suleja,” he said.
Speaking, the Tafarki Zazzuo, said David Umaru was seeking royal blessings and appealed for support from the people of the emirate.
He said Umaru was highly qualified to replace the late Senator Kuta at the National Assembly.
