Appointment into NDDC: Adamawa ex-APC legal adviser expresses confidence on Namdas

An All Progressives Congress (APC), stakeholder in Adamawa state, Barrister Shagnah Pwamaddi Maboyofe, has congratulated Hon. Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas, on his inauguration as the commissioner, representing the North-East on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Maboyofe, APC former legal adviser, eulogised Namdas as an astute politician who was a good public administrator that can help take the commission to lofty heights.

He said the appointment of Namdas, an illustrious son of Adamawa state, did not come to many as a surprise in the country, especially to the people of the state as an indigene who has a pedigree in public service and commitment to grassroots politics and mobilisation.

In a statement, the former party official said Namdas’ tract record of service to humanity began as a servant leader to his professional body, the Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ) Adamawa state chapter, where he served as the state secretary.

According to him, Namdas’ dint of hard work catapulted him to become the chief press secretary to Governor Boni Haruna, a position that launched and propelled him into public service. As a media entrepreneur and politician, Namdas is a serious-minded person who is always on top of his game to deliver his best at any given time.

Maboyofe recalled how Namdas when he was at National Assembly as the elected representative of the people of Ganye, Jada, Toungo & Mayobelwa federal constituency for eight years attracted more infrastructure, human empowerment, job creation, and social investments to his constituency than ever.

He said Namdas did well when he chaired House Committee on Army. His benevolence also extended to other constituencies in Adamawa state by ensuring compliance with federal character in the recruitment of youth into the Nigerian Army.

“The people of Adamawa wish to once more express their special gratitude to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing the secretary of logistics and support services of his presidential campaign organisation in this capacity.

“To our political leader of Northern Nigerian Vice-President Kashim Shettima accept our huge appreciation as we simply say ASKIMINGILA in Kanuri for finding our patriotic son, indeed a square peg in a square hole to be that worthy ambassador of the North East in the NDDC Board, an appointment that has attracted a lot of appreciations by the stakeholders, leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress in Adamawa state,” he said
