APC is a corrupt party – Lamido – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

Former Governor of Jigawa state and Presidential aspirant on the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP) , Alhaji Sule Lamido yesterday accused the All Progressive Congress (APC) led administration of massive corruption, saying that they have succeeded in impoverishing many Nigerians within three years.
Lamido stated this in Lokoja yesterday when he met the delegates of Kogi state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and noted that the present APC government, besides alleged massive corruption has continued to impoverish the people in order to lord it over them.
He emphasised that Nigerians must rise, unite and rescue the country from injustice imposed on the citizens by the current APC government.
The Presidential aspirant who is seeking for the support of the state delegates at the forthcoming PDP convention said the current leadership in the country has succeeded in causing pains, and disunity among Nigerians.
According to him : ” I was ashamed when I entered Kogi state.
When I look into the eyes of many Kogite and Nigerians, it was clearly written in their faces that all is not well.
“They said they are fighting corruption in this government which is not true.
I can tell you that there is massive corruption at the presidential villa and many states belonging to APC owe months of salaries.
“What our party succeeded in building for our nation in the last 16 years is currently under threat because of the APC led government.
PDP remains the party to contend with come 2019.
The party respects the right of every Nigerian unlike what we are having now.” While promising to run an all inclusive government if voted to power comes 2019, Lamido urged the delegates to pick their flag bearer with good history and track record of achievement.
