APBN felicitates with Muslims at Sallah

Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) has congratulated all Muslims in the country on the occasion of its successful celebration of this year’s Eid Al Adha.

A statement signed by the president of the association, Dr Omede Idris, said as a people, there was the need to “imbibe the spirit of personal discipline as a way of life and sober refl ect in our approaches to worldly aff airs.

“I use the occasion of Eid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifi ce) to congratulate all Muslims and citizens across the states of the federation, including FCT Abuja and the Globe”.

He said human beings daily sacrifi ces in various ways were lessons from scriptures that should “guide us in our quest, observance and sustenance of relative understanding, peace, love, security and welfare we share”.

May the binding forces of our togetherness and unity permeate through us this season and always”.

He enjoined faithful to continue to pray to Allah for individual, collective and national needs and admonished for good governance and leadership for the benefi t of the nation and people.

“Surely Allah would grant us our heart desires for general good.

Th ere is no better time to commit ourselves to personal discipline, work with patriotism, skill and knowledge, than now for the progress, peace and security of our states and nation in the face of economic, human capital, infrastructural and political realities”.
