Suspected group of cultists have declared wanted, Erinebimi Osaro Desmond, the son of late Mr. Solomon Erinebimi.
The cultists reportedly made the threat after operatives of Nigeria Police Force raided their hideouts, and gunned down a gang member identified simply as Bright.
The police raid was in response to the reported assault on Erinebimi Osaro Desmond on February 25, 2022.
Blueprint gathered that some of the gang members who escaped during the operatives’ raid are still intimidating the victim (Desmond) with death threats using anonymous telephone calls.
In a police extract signed by SP. Judith Jemeke, Desmond was said to have been beaten and wounded after he refused the hoodlums’ move to initiate him to their cult group.
According to the extract, marked: AK: 1000/EDS/BZ/VOL T/402, the hoodlums were said to have afterwards been on his trail, but added that none of the suspects have been arrested to date, fueling anxiety about the safety of Desmond.
