The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) with support from the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) will provide support in various forms of palliatives to some athletes, sports federations and selected schools.
The ANOCA/NOC support is to cushion the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. The sports federations will also be provided with sanitation equipment and materials in addition to their offices being fumigated.
Pacelli School for the Blind and Partially Sighted Children amongst other schools will be provided with materials too, such as thermometers, face masks, hand Sanitizers and banners publicising good hygiene protocols.
The NOC is one of the 54 National Olympic Committees in Africa that benefitted from the ANOCA support.
