Anambra: How Lady, 20, others lured Facebook male lover, threatened to expose acts on social media – Police 

Anambra State Police command, Thursday, said they have arrested four syndicate for allegedly luring a male Facebook friend to a room where they allegedly forced him into transferring certain amount of money.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, the suspects included Mr Okechukwu Ogoejiofor, aged 36; Mr Nonso Nwizu, aged 34; Ms Esther Nwafor lfeanyichukwu, aged 21 and Ms Obianuju Nduba, aged 20.

Ikenga, who said the suspects hail from Ajakpani village, Umuanya in Oyi Local Government Area (LGA), added that “preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects used the social media to lure their unsuspecting male victims into fake love/friendship affairs.”

He noted that “They thereafter, take the victim to a room, where Obianuju Nduba engages the victim in a foreplay. The other members of the gang force themselves into the room, take nude pictures/videos of the victims.

“They use them to force the victims into transferring huge sums of money to them, with the threat of publishing same on social media if the the victims fail to comply and also dispossess the individual of his personal belongings. The case shall be charged to court once investigations are concluded.”
