Aisha Dan Kano: The death of best Kannywood actress

By Usman Santuraki

The death of Aisha Dan Kano, alias Sima reached me like a thunder with devastating windstorm.  I could not believe it when the sad news was relayed to me by my wife who was attending a wedding ceremony somewhere in the ancient city of Kano on Wednesday.

The reason why my wife took the pains to let me know the death was because she fully knows that my attachment to Kannywood was my admiration for this young actress who played the villain roles to the best of her ability, not only the role but any role given to her by a producer. Aisha Dankano tried to live up to expectation by giving those who are attached to her the impetus to always have the time to watch the film she appeared.
There is no any film that this charming actress appeared that is not worthy of watching. This can be attributed to the fact that she does anything with the seriousness it deserved. One of the things that the late Aisha Dankano does in Kannywood was that, at most times, she portrayed the uniqueness of the northern woman by her unique northern dress.

Honestly, the vacuum created by her death would no doubt be hard to fill by anyone in the industry. She believes that the industry is a noble one and this was made possible because she belonged to a noble profession of journalism before she made an incursion into the Kannywood industry.
The Kannywood industry has greatly lost a strong pillar. She is indeed a classical role model to the upcoming generation of actresses, who are daily joining the industry in countless number. The industry should uphold her good virtues and place it in front of young coming actresses that are now in the industry.

Aisha Dan kano should be remembered always especially to the admirers of the Kannywood industry for a long time to come and this was made possible because of the way she acted in any role given to her by the producers.
Though death is inevitable but in the case of this young woman, it has come too early to sweep her off her feet. But the giver of life and death knows better why he took her so soon.

It is quite imperative to allude to the fact that all mortals must test death some day. Her time is now and there is nothing anyone could do not even her parents and relations. Our consolation is that they accept her death as true Muslims as everybody is waiting for his/her time to come. Aisha has come and conquered the world especially in the world of enlightenment.
My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family members, the members of the Kannywood industry and her teeming admirers. It is necessary for the government of Kano State to immortalize this wonderful woman.
