As much pressure from various pressure groups, the federal government on Tuesday announced the reduction in the the price of petrol by N5 from N168 per litre to N162.44 per litre.
The reduction which takes effect from December 14, was arrived at after an overnight meeting with labour leaders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
