AFCON game against Algeria remains my best for Nigeria – Collins

Despite losing to the Les Fennecs of Algeria at the last Africa Cup of Nations semifinal, Super Eagles left-back, Jamilu Collins has revealed that it was his best game in the colours of Nigeria, AOIFootball.com reports.

The SC Paderborn made this assertion in a live Instagram session with the Super Eagles media team, whilst adding that though he was at his best during the encounter, it was a painful loss.

“That game was awesome. We were almost through to the final, only for Riyadh Mahrez to score that late free-kick. I was at my best and it remains my best game so far in the colours of the Super Eagles. I pray for more better games though,” the former Rijeka of Croatia left-back revealed.

Collins made his debut against Seychelles in October 2018 and has now cemented his place in the Eagles after displaying good performances whenever he was called up to the team.
