3 kidnap suspects lynched in Ogun

Pandemonium broke out yesterday in Ijoko road in Ota in Ado-Odo-Ota local government area of Ogun state when some hoodlums killed three  suspected kidnappers and set their bodies ablaze.

The hoodlums also reportedly burnt the suspected kidnappers’ vehicle and rescued one Oluwole Elizabeth, 26, who had been  kidnapped.
An eyewitness told Blueprint that nemesis caught up with the three suspected kidnappers when their victim screamed and alerted the people who pounced on them, killed them and burnt them to ashes.

The source added that the incident occurred yesterday at Ijoko road when a lady screamed from a vehicle which alerted the people who blocked the kidnappers’ vehicle.
It was further gathered that attempt  by the suspects to escape from the scene infuriated the people who grabbed them, beat them to coma and later burnt them to ashes.

Confirming  the incident,  the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the hoodlums had burnt the suspects to ashes before the policemen arrived the scene.
Adejobi, who said the Command had begun investigation into the incident, added that the victim was being interrogated.
